Obvious SCAM - after advising I was Picked at Random by the Government to get a $6,000 Student Loan that I could spend any way I wanted to, the Questions came. The caller wanted my Bank account and Bank Routing numbers - Yeah Right, so they could send me the money, if I did not have any bank accounts, I could go get a prepaid card and they would put the money on my account within 45 minutes. Needlws to say, I asked that they call me back within the hour. WHAT! No return phone call from this scammer? Suprise, Suprise! Thankfully it did not cost me anything except my valuable time.

left said there was an open criminial investigation and that my wife needs to cal back immeidatley. I googled the name and number and saw there were several people that said this was a prank and that some even wired them money.

Caller hangs up when answering the phone. Several calls and attempts to answer the call have been placed in the last few days. Other than a landline in DEnver, CO, no o9ther information is available on caller ID or reverse phone look up.

Person calling himself Ryan Smith left two phone messages for me, one so far each day, telling me to call this "hotline" number. He said that I had to call immediately and if I didn't, he wished me "good luck" as the process unfolds on me or whatever.

When I receive these types of calls, I answer with "Hello" and, when they begin speaking, tell whoever is on the other end that this is a private number from a government intelligence agency and our agents will contact them in person shortly. I get responses from gasps to expletives and a very quick hang up! I can just picture this person explaining this to their supervisor!
